See what people are saying about Tube-Evac
Recently I underwent a surgical procedure that required the placement of two 7 French Jackson Pratt drains.  Having prior experience, both as a patient and a nurse, I am aware of the frequent requirement to "milk" the tubing to prevent clots from accumulating.  I must say, your product is remarkable!  The Tube-Evac is very easy and comfortable to use.  It turns an awkward chore into an easy, efficient and safe process.  It requires minimal instruction to become efficient in its proper use, so all types of patients and caregivers should find it to be a simple and convenient device to assist them in maintaining the patency of their surgical drains.

As an experienced patient and over 30 years experience as a RN/ARNP, I highly recommend this product!  Thank you for you contribution toward improving patient care!

Sincerely,

L. Lowrey, ARNP

After major abdominal surgery, I had drains and tubes in place for ten days to collect blood from my surgical wounds.   The tubes needed to be kept clear, which meant I had to "milk" the tubes several times a day, to move the blood out of the tubes and into the drains. This was a difficult process, even though I am an RN and am familiar with the task  -- I was weak after surgery and the tubes were long and placed in difficult-to-get-to places.  The effort was difficult and I did not look forward to it.

A friend sent me the Tube-Evac device when I told him about my problem -- what a difference! It was effortless!

I cannot wait to share this device with my fellow nurses.  It is a real time saver and can be used by anyone -- patient or caregiver.  What a great (and long overdue) solution to a long-time problem for post-surgical patients.--
